What is an algorithmic trading bot?

An “algorithm” is just a set of clear rules — if this happens, do that. A trading algorithm (an “algo”, or “bot”) is a small program that watches the market around the clock and follows those rules exactly: it enters, exits, and manages risk the moment your conditions are met — no hesitation, no emotion, no staring at charts at 3 a.m.

Trading on emotion

  • Hesitates, second-guesses, and misses the entry
  • Chases losses and “revenge trades”
  • Driven by fear, greed, and FOMO
  • Needs sleep — can’t watch the market 24/5
  • Forgets the plan the moment pressure hits

Letting an algo trade

  • Follows the same rulebook every single time
  • No emotion in the decision — ever
  • Watches the market 24/5 without a break
  • Reacts in milliseconds when conditions line up
  • Sizes every trade by the same risk rules
An honest note: rules don’t remove risk. A disciplined system can still lose money in bad markets — the goal is consistency and control, not a guarantee. Trading always puts your capital at risk.
Why Algomatic

Built to be transparent — not to sell you a dream.

Plenty of trading products promise the moon. Here’s what we do differently, in plain terms — so you can decide with your eyes open.

You keep control of your money

The bot runs on a trading account in your own name at a broker. You fund it, you own it, and you can switch the bot off anytime — your capital is never sent to us.

Risk is on the label

Every bot shows its risk level and drawdown range up front — including the aggressive ones. We’d rather you understand the downside than be surprised by it.

Verify before you trust

Request read-only access to a live account and watch a strategy work for yourself — with no ability to trade or withdraw, and no passwords shared.

Choose your comfort level

Three systems, from a lower-risk breakout bot to an aggressive grid bot. Pick the mandate that matches how much swing you can stomach.

No coding, no chart-watching

You don’t need to be a developer or a full-time trader. The strategy logic is built in — you connect a compatible account and set your risk.

Objectives, not promises

Where we show a target return, we call it a target — and we show the drawdown that can come with it. No guarantees, ever.

Bot Catalogue · 01–03

Three systems. Three distinct mandates.

Each bot is presented with access price, strategy logic, operating capital, account compatibility, return objective, and drawdown framework before deployment.

Bot 01 / Cosmic Series

Cosmic Grid Alpha

Aggressive

Layered grid execution with a directional trend filter. Designed for aggressive growth mandates and compatible only with cent accounts.

Access price$299
Suggested capital$7K–$10K
Monthly objective*~20%
Potential drawdown30–40%
Cent accounts only. Not configured for standard, raw, or other account formats.
Grid + trend logic. Layered execution combined with directional confirmation.
Exposure monitoring across open positions with systematic entries and exits.
For experienced users able to tolerate substantial equity fluctuations.
Cent Account OnlyGrid ExecutionTrend ConfirmationAggressive Growth
Risk disclosure: The ~20% monthly figure is an objective, not a promise. Grid systems can accumulate exposure during adverse movement. A 30–40% drawdown may occur and capital is at risk.
Bot 02 / Falcon Series

Falcon Prime

Low Risk

Identifies breakout conditions and manages open positions through a trailing-stop framework. Positioned as the lower-risk option and runs across all supported account types.

Access price$199
Required capital$1,000
Operating DD target7–8%
Hard DD guardrail20%
All account types. Designed to run across every supported account format.
Breakout + trailing stop. Entry logic with trailing-stop position management.
Layered risk framework. 7–8% intended operating DD plus a 20% hard account guardrail.
Variable results. Market-linked outcomes; no fixed monthly return specified.
All Account TypesBreakout DetectionTrailing StopLower-Risk Mandate
Risk disclosure: “Low risk” is a relative catalogue classification, not a guarantee of limited loss. Breakout systems can suffer false signals, slippage, gaps, and consecutive stopped trades. The 7–8% and 20% figures are configured parameters, not assured outcomes.
Bot 03 / Atlas Series

Atlas EMA Core

Moderate*

An EMA-based directional system designed for USD-denominated accounts. Applies exponential moving-average logic to identify and manage qualifying market conditions.

Access price$99
Required capital$5,000
Monthly objective*~50%
Drawdown parameter20%
USD accounts. Configured for USD-denominated trading accounts.
EMA-based framework. Market-direction and signal logic; exact parameters proprietary.
Moderate — relative to the Algomatic catalogue, not an industry low-volatility rating.
~50% monthly objective with variable, market-dependent outcomes.
USD AccountEMA-Based LogicModerate Catalogue RiskHigh Return Objective
Risk disclosure: A 50% monthly objective is highly speculative and not consistent with conventional moderate-risk expectations. It is not a forecast or guarantee. The 20% drawdown figure is a configured parameter and may not cap realized loss during gaps, slippage, execution failure, or exceptional market conditions.
Classification note: “Low,” “moderate,” and “aggressive” are relative labels within this catalogue. They should not be interpreted as regulated risk ratings or guarantees of maximum loss.

*Important: The ~20% and ~50% monthly figures are strategy objectives, not promises, forecasts, or guarantees. Actual results may be lower or negative. Atlas's 50% monthly objective is highly speculative and does not align with conventional moderate-risk expectations. “Low,” “moderate,” and “aggressive” are relative catalogue classifications. Questions, answered simply

The basics, in plain English.

No jargon. If you’re new to automated trading, start here.

Do I hand over my money to Algomatic?
No. Your capital stays in a trading account in your own name at your broker. Algomatic provides the bot that trades that account — you keep control and can stop it at any time.
Can I lose money?
Yes. All trading carries real risk, and you can lose part or all of your capital. Never fund an account with money you can’t afford to lose. The risk labels and drawdown figures on each bot are there to help you judge that.
What does “drawdown” mean?
It’s how far your account can fall from its peak before recovering — a simple measure of the bumps along the way. A “20% drawdown” means the balance could drop 20% at some point. Lower is calmer; higher is riskier.
Are the return figures guaranteed?
No. Numbers like “~20% a month” are objectives the strategy aims for — not promises. Real results vary and can be negative, especially in difficult markets.
Do I need to know how to trade or code?
No. The strategy logic is built in. You mainly need a compatible broker account and to pick a risk level you’re comfortable with.
What’s a “cent account”?
A broker account measured in cents instead of dollars, so each position is about 100× smaller. It lets a strategy run with less real money at risk. Cosmic Grid Alpha runs only on cent accounts.
How do I know the performance is real?
You can request read-only “investor” access to a live account and see the results yourself — with no ability to place trades or withdraw funds. Master passwords are never shared.

Jargon buster

The words you’ll see on this page, translated.

Grid strategyPlaces layered buy/sell orders at set intervals to work a range or trend.
BreakoutEntering when price pushes past a level it’s been stuck below or above.
Trailing stopA stop-loss that follows price in your favour to help lock in gains.
EMAExponential moving average — a trend line that reacts faster to recent prices.

Three bots. Three mandates. One transparent framework.

Choose Cosmic for aggressive cent-account deployment, Falcon Prime for lower-risk breakout execution across supported account types, or Atlas EMA Core for an EMA-based USD-account mandate. Start with compatibility and loss tolerance — not the return headline.
